The Sheikh’s Forced Bride By Leslie North – A Review

I hope you guys had a wonderful and romantic Valentine’s Day. I spent my evening reading some steamy romances, one of which I wanted to share with you today. I am so glad I have not given up on Leslie North, after the last series. […]

Top Ten Underrated Books

Top Ten Underrated Books Some books are hidden gems, that should get much more light than they are currently receiving. I have read a few of these treasures, and am highlighting them for you today, hoping that you will choose to check out some of them. This post is a part of the Top Ten Tuesday Blog Hop hosted by The Broke And Bookish. I did not limit myself to books released in 2016 however because not all of the books I have read over the last few months are new releases.

1. The Keepers: Ethan (The Keepers # 3)
I was shocked to see how little attention this book has received. I loved it, actually, I love the entire series and
am sad that it is over. Rae Rivers is a talented Author. Genre: Paranormal Romance/Fantasy

2. Breaking Glass
Very suspenseful, with a lot of twists and turns that are not always expected. Genre: Thriller

3. A Change Of Plans (Safe Harbors # 1)
A great beginning to a charming romance series. I loved the setting, almost made me want to go on a cruise – and I don’t like boats of any kind, lol. Genre: Contemporary Romance, General Fiction (Adult)

4. The Mistaken (The Mistaken # 1)
A darker than my usual romance novel choices, but still a very interesting, and action packed read. This is a revenge novel, but everything that can go wrong goes wrong – well at least at first. Genre: Romance, Suspense General Fiction (adult)

5. Holiday Affair (Affair # 1)
Another romance novel, but this one is much lighter in tone than the last book. A great Sunday read, and interesting beginning to a series. I was given this book by a friend, but out of some weird reason, I can not find it on Amazon.  Genre: Romance, General Fiction (Adult)

6. Color Me Vegan
A great cookbook for vegans and those who would like to reduce their intake of animal products. There are a lot of cookbooks out there, with no imagination. This one is full of it. Genre: cooking, vegan cooking

7. Vegan Eats World
I love international cuisine, and this highlights the best recipes while staying true to a vegan lifestyle. This contains
a lot of recipes, not sure why it has not gotten more attention. Genre: cooking, Vegan cooking

8. Zen In The Garden
I grew up within a family of holistic practitioners and organic gardeners, so this book is, in my opinion, a must read to find inner peace. Even if you don’t have a green thumb. Genre: Self-help

9. The Tao Of Mindful Being
I am very much a fan of mindfulness – well, I am so much of a fan that I have an entire blog dedicated to that practice. This book is one of the better books on the subject, even if it is underrated. Genre: Mindfulness

10. Conscious Parenting: Mindful Living Course for Parent
A practical guide for parents that actually makes sense. As I mentioned above, mindfulness is important to me. And as a homeschooling parent, I found this book essential reading. Genre: Self-Help, Parenting
