This week I have received an exciting ARC copy of “By Wolfsbane and Mandrake Root“, which is an herbal guide to poisonous plants. As a Herbalist, I am always very excited to get my hands on out of the ordinary books like this one.

Because it is Friday, and time for Friday 56, I have chosen to share with you an excerpt of this book featuring the plant “Hound’s Tongue”. I love the name of this plant!
