I know, I am a little late in getting around to reviewing The Sheikh’s Christmas Baby, but just because it was Christmas themed, it was still a pretty hot novel. Another part of the Shadid Sheikhs Series Book series by Leslie North, this book as easy to read, entertaining and steamy as the rest of the novels.

I am glad that Leslie decided to give all brothers their own book, and I love how she closed it. Of course, I will not spoil it for you, but I do have to say, that unlike in some other series I have read, this one is tied up all sweetly with a nice Christmas bow.

Well developed characters, and a plot that was fast-paced, sweet, and romantic, fitting in well with the series, while also able to be read as a stand-alone book. I like Leslie North, and this was her at her best.

This second-chance novel reunites two people who should have never been separated and are a perfect fit. But because of misconceptions, and outside influences (what is it always with other people meddling in affairs they don’t belong in – that is not just in novels but happens too often in real life. You would think people would learn? No? – Well, it makes a great suspenseful read, but not such a good experience) the two have to find each other again, after being apart.

Of course, that makes it hard to trust one another, and Leslie managed to explore that very well, without being melodramatic. And when you add financial problems to the mix, there are all kinds of emotions involved, which again, the Author fleshed out in details, making this an emotional, relatable read.

Oh, and dogs are involved. As a dog lover (and owner of two rescue pups), that is always a plus point in my mind.

A great end to a very good series.
