As a mother of one dyslexic child, I am always interested getting more information about reading and learning techniques that can help kids like mine. While I am no longer in need of practical advice (my kids are older), I am happy about any new information out there, that makes lives easier for children, parents, and teachers.
Stop Reading was informative, well-constructed and made a lot of sense. It showcased true care for children who are otherwise often marginalized or just discarded as “not as bright”, which is far from the truth.
This book is practical and will work well in the classroom setting, as well as the homeschool family. The techniques are described well and will be easy to implement, with patience and understanding.
The only gripe I have with this book is that it made me want more, it is quite short, but do not let this distract you. There is a lot of info packed in these short pages, and it makes a great introduction to a worth-while technique.
5 out of 5 Stars
