My thoughts:

Before reading Simple Steps to Photographic Memory by Stefan Cain, I had made the decision to have an open mind, to see if what the title promised would actually be possible. After all, who would not like to be able to remember things, the same a genius can? I know I could always use some improvement in that matter. However, I did not find a useful and practical book as you would maybe think when reading the title, and summary.

I hated the first exercise as it featured a text that was gruesome, and therefore I could not identify with it at all and did not get any use out of it.

And because the rest of the book is based on knowing which type of learner you are, it made it pretty much useless for me.

Now, that said, I still continued to read it, seeing if the other exercises would be better or as ridiculous as the first one. Here is what I found:

The second exercise made no sense either because it had you watch a television who, then do an exercise about looking at your watch and visualization, which was completely unrelated to content but was written as one exercise.

This method continues and is not explained anywhere in the book. By that time, I lost all of my faith in the writer, because there was simply no sense in those extra steps in the exercises.

After reading a few more exercises, I simply gave up, because none of the exercises made any sense. This author has no idea what he is talking about, and I have to say that, it is a waste of time reading Simple Steps To Photographic Memory.

My rating:

1 out of 5 Stars
