My review:

I have been purchasing each addition of this datebook for a few years now, and not once have I been disappointed. Llewellyn’s Witches’ Datebook is my one-stop info for anything I need to keep up with the magical aspects of my life, without having to dig around the internet for information, for which I simply don’t have the time. Surely, you could find all of the info for free, but would you truly go through the trouble every single day of looking for the correspondences, moon phases, which planet is in retrograde, and so much more, if you can just have it right in front of you? Call me lazy, but I am busy, and anything that makes my life more productive, and efficient is a winner in my book.

On top of that, it contains a variety of articles I particularly enjoyed this year – from an article called “Making and Dressing Candles” by Deborah Castellano, to Sprucing Up Your Ritual Space by Najah Lightfoot. Recipes, instructions, and information on the names of the individual Full Moon’s throughout the year adds to the charm. I also love the black and white drawings, which I usually color throughout the year.

Monthly and weekly spreads allow for some space to plan – not much, but enough to add birthdays, celebrations, scheduling your rituals and spells, and similar info. It ends with information on the individual contributors, which I loved because it gave me a chance to check out their further works, such as books and websites. A quick reminder of the most important retrograde dates, and Moon of Void Course Date – in a quick, and easy to overlook appendix, is practical and makes magical planning so much easier.

I will be purchasing this little gem again, for 2019, I am sure of that.  You can get Llewellyn’s Witches’ Datebook 2018 on Amazon now.
