Top Ten Books I Reviewed Before I Started A Book Blog

Within The Pages Of A Book is a relatively new blog, but my love for reading is not. Because of that, I have read and reviewed books on my lifestyle blog Avalon-Media on occasions, more because I have a hard time containing my excitement, or disappointment in a book to only myself, and anyone else in earshot. This book is a part of the Top Ten Tuesday Blog Hop, hosted by the Broke and the Bookish.

Here are some of the many books I reviewed before I started a book blog

1. Llewellyn’s Complete Book Of Mindful Living
While I am not a fan of the title, the book is a great introduction to mindful living practices

2. 100 Healthy Raw Snack Recipes Your Whole Family Will Love
I am always looking for new recipes that my kids and I will enjoy, and because I have a sweet tooth, I fell in love with this book.

3. Quick And Easy Vegan Comfort Food
We love to eat! Well, we used to own a restaurant, so cooking is a huge part of our daily lives and the way we connect with each other. Comfort food, that the vegan’s, as well as our meat-eating members of the family, can enjoy is something we are always looking for. This book features some of the best recipes.

4. Keepers – Ethan by Rae Rivers
I have mentioned her books in a previous list, and will probably mention them again because they are simply too good to ignore. If you like paranormal fantasy, with a touch of romance, this is the book for you.

5. The Billionaire’s Touch by J.S. Scott.
Montlake romance has some of the best romance authors in their midsts, and this book is no exception. While this book is a part of a series, it can be read as a stand-alone novel.

6. Elevator Speeches That Get Results
In the non-fiction, self-help category, I enjoyed reading this book, which is essential for any small business owner, at least in my opinion. If you ever have been asked what you do for a living, and to describe your mission in just a few words, but are stumped on what to say, this is the book for you. Very practical.

7. Delicious DIY Coffee Recipes That Will Impress
Combining my love for coffee, cooking and anything sweet, this book was a perfect addition to my cookbook library. I have made quite a few recipes from it for my guests, and have gotten compliments all of the way. Move over Starbucks.

8. Appreciation Marketing – How To Achieve Greatness Through Gratitude
I am a firm believer in the practice of gratitude, and it’s benefits in all areas of life. As a small business owner, this
book showed me how to integrated it into my business activities as well. Marketing from a different point of view.

9. His Stubborn Lover by Leslie North
I am a Leslie North fan, and currently have two of her novels on my TBR list. This is an earlier novel of hers, but just as great as her current books. If you have not read any of her contemporary, and steamy romance novels, start with this one.

10. Fear Nothing by Lisa Gardner
A chilling, unexpected and superbly written thriller, this book was breathtaking. Lisa Gardner is a master of suspense and created a book, that grabbed me, with many twists and turns, I truly did not see coming. One of my favorite thrillers of all times.

Question: What book is on your current TBR list, that you are really exited about reading? Share in the comments below.

Happy Reading!

  3. That DIY coffee recipes book in your list caught my eye since I’m a coffee lover and I like trying new recipes. I just might have to get that book so I can see that Kit-Kat recipe you speak of! Kit-Kats are one of my favorite chocolates.
Also I wanted to let you know that the picture at the bottom of your coffee book recipe isn’t showing up! It looks broken.
