I have been blessed to have received an ARC (Advance Reader Copy) of the following book via NetGalley: Witness by Caroline Mitchel took me by total surprise. Normally, I am not a fan of books who not only switch the point of view in the narrative but also change from third-person to first-person, as well as past and present. This could have made a very  confusing book if Caroline Mitchel would  not have used this technique to her advantage.
